New Tool

Finally caught up with the 21st century and got a tablet, a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. Oooh get Me! So now I’m trying to find my way round the drawing apps. This is my first attempt at a digital scribble. Long-suffering Husb manned up as usual. I love playing with new tools.

I'm an artist / printmaker / scribbler. I love drawing and all the geeky stuff associated with printmaking, working in a figurative style. I live in Wales with husband and demented cats. And my real name is Rose Davies :D

  1. I recognized your style without even knowing the drawing was done on a tablet. Sounds like you will have a great time with your new “toy”…

  2. Sweet! So, does it come with a stylus, or do you just use your fingers? This is a great diggie creation…I’d say you’re finding your way around pretty well.

  3. Nice! Get you! LOL looks like you’re finding your way around really well – but don’t forget the paper and pencils/charcoal/pen etc. that you handle so well! 🙂

  4. The Galaxy looks great, looking forward to see what you do with it! I recently lost a galaxy note phone, I will eventually replace it with one of these one day (when I have paid for the one I lost!)

    1. Thanks I’ll check that one out. This si my first drawing and I did it on Magic Marker, a free app. I like it so far because it’s very basic and uncomplicated.

    1. Thank you. It wasn’t too bad. I registered as a business customer with PC World and got quite a bit of discount. Husb and I needed a small portable gizmo and I’ve wanted a drawing tablet for ages, so this gives us everything we wanted in one go. There are cheaper ones that are pretty good. We went for an Android system because neither of us like Macs
