Still struggling to draw children – they’re soooo weird. Funny little faces squished into great big heads. And they won’t keep still. And you’re not allowed to tie them to chairs. Nanny State Nonsense! 😉

I tried a drawing game with my five year old yesterday. Set the oven timer to four minutes each and alternated in drawing each other in charcoal. Still a struggle to get a likeness and fascinating to see how she drew. I asked “why don’t you look at me” she said “but I know what you look like Daddy”. Still, as it went on (we did about four goes each) she changed, started looking. She was challenging herself too.
I guess my point is, I admire your efforts. This is hard.
