A few days ago I started to explore “Angels” as a subject, writing down words and phrases about what they are. There are lots of angels in Byzantine art traditions, especially mosaics and icons, and I’m trying to analyse the style. I have used my home-made walnut ink onto recycled printmaking paper coated with acrylic screenprint ink.
