This is the fourth Byzantine angel I’ve studied from art history and apart from doing some more inking with white Liquitex acrylic ink, I’ll leave the Byzantine angels and research other types of angels. I like doing research like this, by studying and copying I can start to understand more than a cursory glance in a gallery or book.
