Fascinating blog about femicide – worth reading

Grim but important reading. And for those apologists out there, this doesn’t negate the fact that people of all ages and both genders are the victims of murder, but the extent to which women / girls are murdered by men in Britain is disproportionate and pretending otherwise is never going to confront the problem and potential solutions honestly and constructively.

There are a lot of isolated incidents around.

  1. So acceptable that it is dismissed, rather than looked at? Ask about my satire: “One free shot”. Theory being that women get the first shot/murder for free. Might that stop men from feeling they have a right to abuse/beat/kill women?

    1. Oh, that’s a good idea 🙂 Unfortunately, it’s awful how many women dismiss things like this. I’m always getting into arguments with female apologists who trivialise violence against women but complain bitterly about any perceived slight towards men.
