Yesterday’s weather was gorgeous and we went for a walk on the beach. It’s just a few minutes walk from my home and it’s lovely. I’m very lucky. The tide was fully in and still as a pond of mercury. People moved around at the water edge, walking their dogs, fishing, paddling. I stopped for a quick scribble. Then off up the road for a Joe’s Icecream. For tea 🙂

I'm an artist / printmaker / scribbler. I love drawing and all the geeky stuff associated with printmaking, working in a figurative style. I live in Wales with husband and demented cats. And my real name is Rose Davies :D View more posts

Ooo I recognise this lovely beach and Joe’s icecream is THE best ( aside from Italian Ice cream of course !)
I’m so lucky 🙂
When I was a kid we lived for about 18 months in Hove – about a 5 minute walk from the sea front. I used to love it. We would walk all the way down the seafront through into Brighton on a daily basis. I remember missing it when we eventually went back to London.
It’s a lovely place, know it quite well. I miss the sea when I’m away for more than a few days. Going to be odd when I’m in Pakistan beause I’ll be hundreds of miles from the sea.
It’s really cool you live so near the beach. 🙂 Have a happy day!
Thanks. It’s a lovely place, but we all take it for granted 🙂
