Just back from the Riverside Folk night at Loughor Boat Club where I had a few scribbles. This is one of them. More tomorrow, it’s late and I am off to bed now in a minute. Good night zzzzzzzzz 😪

I'm an artist / printmaker / scribbler. I love drawing and all the geeky stuff associated with printmaking, working in a figurative style. I live in Wales with husband and demented cats. And my real name is Rose Davies :D View more posts

I so admire your skill at drawing
Thank you so much. It’s practice, drawing every day. Something a lot of art colleges fail to teach any more
I absolutely agree. And it’s probably the key difference between real artists who make this their main work and amateurs like me who don’t.
It’s the 10,000 hours thing. If you do it every day and immerse yourself in it, you rapidly improve, but you also lose the enjoyment of it being a hobby. My hobby is making cakes and people kindly say I should go professional but then I wouldn’t enjoy it anywhere near as much.
