Husb and I had a few days away in the north of England, splitting out visit between West Yorkshire and Cumbria. I managed to so some sketching as well as some fairly strenuous walking, historic sight-seeing and visits to friends and relatives. This is a sketch I made in pen (Faber Castell Pitt) and Inktense blocks (Derwent) from the Peggy Braithwaite Hide on the South Walney nature reserve. There were some structures in the sea in the distance that looked like they came from War Of The Worlds.

I'm an artist / printmaker / scribbler. I love drawing and all the geeky stuff associated with printmaking, working in a figurative style. I live in Wales with husband and demented cats. And my real name is Rose Davies :D View more posts
