I played around with some paint (Liquitex Heavy Body) and offcuts of paper (Bockingford 280gsm) and a palette knife, scraping the paint over the surface to make the most of the texture. I ripped the offcuts up and arranged them onto backing paper, to see what happened, then took photos of the compositions that I liked. Total abstraction.
