Husb and I normally go to metal and rock gigs, but for a change we went along to Mission Gallery in Swansea yesterday to listen to a performance of the Welsh Triple Harp by the harpist (y delynor) Robin Huw Bowen. It was enchanting. I’ve never heard anything like it. Husb and I loved it. I’d love to hear ACDC’s THUNDERSTRUCK on a Welsh Triple Harp. I think it could be awesome.
I wanted to do more sketches but I was so transported by the music that I only managed one. The performance was the closing event for the “Merched ar Llestri” exhibition by Lowri Davies and Elinor Gwynn. If you’re in Swansea, pop in to Mission, it’s a fascinating little place on Swansea’s historic dockside.
