I went to a concert featuring the choir that Husb is in, Cor Aderyn Du, at the beautiful Llangiwg Church on Barley Hill above Rhydyfro. I sat in the pews and sketched a bit. It was a lovely sunny evening and the sun streamed through the magnificent modern stained glass window.

Scribbling A Little Group
Husb and I went to a barbecue a few evenings ago, at a neighbours house, where many musicians played and the company was lovely and cheerful. A good opportunity to sit and sketch, I drew this group in pencil.
Just Sitting And Sketching
Husb and I went to a barbecue at a lovely neighbour’s house yesterday evening: the weather was warm and gentle; the company lovely and cheerful; and there were many musicians making music. I sat quietly in a corner and sketched a bit while people listened to the music.
The Piano Players
Husb and I went to a neighbour’s party a couple of days into the New Year, it was lovely. There was lots of live music and our hostess played the piano with her granddaughter and provided song-sheets for guests to sing along. Great fun. I went up to Elysium for New Year’s Eve with Husb and SIL and had a fab time. I did a bit of scribbling, of course, in pencil into my size A6 Indigo-bound sketchbook, the last of 2025.
