Drawing Walking: 1

I went for a walk with a friend yesterday and took a bit of time to sit and sketch while he walked around a labyrinth. It’s a challenge to draw someone walking as, of course, they’re constantly on the move and you have to catch fleeting movements, shapes, colours without having the luxury of observing and drawing details.

I have an exhibition of (mostly) new work, “Carved Heads And Other Creatures”, part of MANIFEST at The Workers Gallery in Ynyshir. The show runs until October 31st. Open Saturdays 10.00 – 17.00, other times by appointment.

I'm an artist / printmaker / scribbler. I love drawing and all the geeky stuff associated with printmaking, working in a figurative style. I live in Wales with husband and demented cats. And my real name is Rose Davies :D
