You’ve captured a sign of the times. Recently my granddaughter and I counted how many people were going in and out of an office building looking at their phones, it was more than 50.
I keep getting people with headphones on, looking at their phones, walking across the road in front of the car! It’s only a matter of time ….

Love the man with nothing better to do. Recently we transitted Singapore and took the opportunity to check out the new Jewel Changi mall (at the airport) which is the latest ‘must see’ place. It was crammed with people who like your man came to experience the mall with it’s multi-storey garden and water vortex, but spent all their time shuffling along with their heads down looking at their phones.
It happens in art galleries too! People just stare at their phones until they come to something iconic, turn their back and take a selfie and shuffle on. What are they doing?
Yes, I wonder that myself.🤣
