This was not an easy pose for me to draw. I’m not sure why, but I kept getting the measurements wrong and the whole body is slightly out. But that’s the way it goes sometimes. It’s a 15 minute pose drawn with Caran D’Ache NeoPastels onto repurposed paper prepared with acrylic screenprinting ink.
I have a new exhibition coming up, “Carved Heads And Other Creatures”, part of MANIFEST at The Workers Gallery in Ynyshir. There’s a celebration event with me and other artists on Saturday September 5th and the show runs until October 31st. Open Saturdays 10.00 – 17.00, other times by appointment.
