I really liked this pose, the lines just flowed as I drew her. She’s very tiny and reminds me of the models of the Austrian Expressionist artist Egon Schiele back at the beginning of the 20th century. She features in my new exhibition (see below). I worked with Caran D’Ache NeoPastels onto repurposed printmaking paper prepared with acrylic screenprinting ink.
I have an exhibition of (mostly) new work, “Carved Heads And Other Creatures”, part of MANIFEST at The Workers Gallery in Ynyshir. The show runs until October 31st. Open Saturdays 10.00 – 17.00, other times by appointment.
