
Husb and I spent a few days in The Lake District earlier this week and visited the stupendous Castlerigg stone circle near Keswick.

I did a quick scribble, just a few seconds as it was so cold, freezing! I used conté crayons in white, sanguine and black into my A4 spiral bound brown paper sketchbook.

Brrrr indeed! Even I am wearing gloves for swimming now. Perhaps you could try drawing with them, very windproof too 😀 Lovely day for it though, and well done for getting even a quick one done.
Thanks Nancy. I wear fingerless mittens to draw but the tips of my fingers froze up pretty quickly 🙂
Oh I tried those once… I found they make your fingers seem even colder than not having them on :-O
