After two days working on one large drawing installation, it’s back to speed sketching. I did these two little scribbles in the cafe in Waterstones bookshop. It’s a nice place to chill out; everyone’s reading their purchases and staying quite still. I love bookshops and especially ones that serve tea and cake. IContinue reading “Back To Quickies”

Get Out!

I like doing these very quick, surreptitious little portraits because it forces you to identify and capture what it’s absolutely vital to record because you don’t have theContinue reading “Sneaky Scribbling”
Snatched Sketch And Exercises In Anatomy
We went into the new studio over the weekend and completely re-arranged the space because I wasn’t comfortable working in it last week. Today was so much better. I finally settled back into some drawing after the Xmas break and the studio move. Husb came over at lunchtime and brought some meatball and melted cheeseContinue reading “Snatched Sketch And Exercises In Anatomy”
