Husb and I went to a gig at The Bunkhouse on Saturday and I had to have a scribble. I saw this guy’s back and wanted to draw him from behind. So I did.

Husb and I went to the Amplitude music festival in Swansea this evening, a free event put on by Swansea Council as part of it’s “Joio! Enjoy!” summer programme. Back about a decade ago I went through a phase of drawing on a Galaxy Tablet using a free “Markers” app. This is a digital sketch of a young Sparta, she was about 4 and a half years old here. She’s 16 this Autumn.

Someone gave me some slightly used Derwent AQUAtone watercolour sticks to try out (they’re now discontinued). I have a sheet of Khadi handmade paper. And I have a stencil in the shape of our little rescue cat Bill aka William Chatnoir. I’m planning to have some fun here.
