I’m teaching a short workshop on linocut printing later this week and I’ve been working on a new design. It’s in Miniprint format, 10 x 10 cms and at that size, it needs to be kept fairly simple, especially for beginners. I’ve started with a photo of our Little Bill, the rescue cat, and shovedContinue reading “A New Design for Lino”

It’s Not #Caturday … But …
Here’s Bill aka William ChatNoir, shoved through an Adobe Photoshop filter (Dry Brush). As you do ….
A Bit More Kitty Fun.
I had some fun with Photoshop yesterday, for #Caturday, but I didn’t want to stop so after I produced the greyscale image I whacked it through a Gradient Map to get this hot version. And today I made a pear and chocolate upside-down sponge cake for Sunday Tea. Husb and I had it hot withContinue reading “A Bit More Kitty Fun.”
#Caturday: Fun With Photoshop – More Bill…
Here’s little Bill aka William ChatNoir aka Phoebe, our new-ish elderly rescue cat. More Fun With Photoshop: Bill’s Story 2.

Bill is an elderlyContinue reading “More Fun With Photoshop: Bill’s Story 2.”

She’s a black cat and the photos are perfect silhouettes in black and white, and I fancied playing with some of them in Adobe Photoshop. I ramped up theContinue reading “#Caturday: Fun With Photoshop: Bill’s Story 1.”
#Caturday: The Golden One.
It’s #Caturday Saturday once again and I’ve been playing with a picture of Sparta Puss in Adobe Photoshop. I put the photo through a Coloured Pencil filter and then cranked up the Saturation to create this golden effect.
#Caturday …
It’s #Caturday / Saturday again and here she is, Sparta Puss, lounging on a comfy blanket surrounded by cushions. What a life! I put the image through Adobe Photoshop using a Watercolour filter.
