Stay Safe In Comic Sans

I carried on with my Pop-inspired painting of Sparta Puss today. I put the caption into her thought bubble – Stay safe – in a reasonable attempt at Comic Sans, although it could be a bit tidier. I love Comic Sans and I don’t care! I’m putting a rainbow border around the thought bubble, to honour our keyworkers. The bit at the bottom is developing randomly. I’m quite frugal – some would say stingy – and I don’t like to waste paint so I’m scrubbing leftovers onto the bottom of the canvas then painting paisley patterns over it. I like it.

I’m using Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint onto a Winsor & Newton canvas. I’m working from a digital drawing I did of Sparta Puss on my Galaxy Note 8 tablet with a free Markers app.
