I didn’t have my mojo with me this evening, or my spectacles, so I found the life drawing session quite difficult. For the last half hour I just made quick sketches of the other people there into my little A6 Indigo covered sketchbook with graphite.

Once Upon A Time…
Way back in 2007, Husb and I went on a two week trip to Pakistan, travelling across the country with a group of Welsh, Danish and Pakistani companions in a large minibus. It was truly magical. Here are a few of the sketchbook drawings I did when we were up in the mountains in theContinue reading “Once Upon A Time…”
A Random Head
Just a random head in graphite into my Indigo-bound A6 sketchbook. I like the way he looks, he suited my scribbly style.
My Comfy Spot.
I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather for a few days so I had an easygoing Sunday, staying at home and not doing very much, like Sundays used to be when I was a kid. I had a scribble, looking at a corner of our living room from my comfy spot on the settee.
Sketchbook Archives: 41
It’s archive time again, from March 2014. Here are 4 sketchbook scribbles and a sketch on newspaper that I did at a “live” drawing session.

This monotype with chine collé is based on a sketch I did when the Ystrad MariContinue reading “A Month Of Maris #10”
Pollards In A Park In Porto
Husb and I went away for a few days, which is why I haven’t blogged recently. It’s our first trip outside the UK since before Covid19 and to be honest I was nervous, but we met up with family from different parts of the world in Porto in Portugal and it was so lovely. TheContinue reading “Pollards In A Park In Porto”
Going To A New Home….
In a few weeks some of my many sketchbooks will be going to a new home in a permanent public collection. But I can’t tell you where just yet. I’m teasing you 🙂
Another Head.
Another head drawn the other night at Swansea’s Volcano Theatre. I love drawing when I’m out, catching people unawares, absorbed in their own world.
