Here’s another quick scribble from my visit to Waterstone’s café the other day. I like to use the continuous line method of sketching when there’s some depth to whatever’s in front of me. I find it’s the best technique to help draw perspective and proportion in a hurry.

Y Delynor: The Harpist
Husb and I normally go to metal and rock gigs, but for a change we went along to Mission Gallery in Swansea yesterday to listen to a performance of the Welsh Triple Harp by the harpist (y delynor) Robin Huw Bowen. Here’s a drawing from June 2014, when Husb and I visited the Belvedere Gallery in Vienna. I saw this wonderful sculpture of a cat by Franz Barwig and scribbled it.
