“Hunting The Wild Megalith“, the book of the journey of the Boar Hunt (Y Twrch Trwyth) is being launched this coming Friday (March 31st) at Swansea’s prestigious GS Artists gallery. Another one from my sketchbook
A small, fast sketch of a person reading from a desk.
A Figure At Rest
Just a quick scribble in my sketchbook of someone sitting quietly – and still – having a rest.
A Feisty Niece, a Furry Cat and a Film.
A short film of artist Rosie Scribblah doing a painting of her feisty niece with an appearance of Sparta Puss the cat.
Faces In A Theatre 1
Just that. Faces in a theatre. I scribbled them.
Modernists At The Gallery.
I scribbled this little one hard at work creating a collage at GS Artists last Friday. The group was inspired by an exhibition supporting a new book by Catrin Saran James, “Modernist Swansea”. The Return Of BogArt!
Working class artists Patti McKenna and Rose Davies exhibit their sketchbook drawings for International Womens Day at Swansea’s Cinema & Co.ffee
Scribbling, Visiting And Bara Brith.
I dropped by GS Artists on High Street this afternoon. It’s a fab gallery and community artspace and every Friday afternoon there’s the 9 to 90 Creative Community art club, with different art activities each week. Of course I had to have a scribble! Then I went home and made some Bara Brith after tea.Continue reading “Scribbling, Visiting And Bara Brith.”
The Fiddler.
Another sketchbook drawing from the lovely gig at Elysium on Saint David’s Day. Singer, composer, musician Angharad Jenkins thrilled us with her wonderful set. I had to have a scribble, of course, but haven’t done her justice. It’s not easy drawing people moving around a lot, but it’s really good practice.
