A Face In The Crowd.

Sometimes you see a face and you’ve just got to sketch it. This guy was at The Jexit gig at The White Lion in Aberdare last week, grooving to the band. A face full of character.

Husb and I went to a memorial celebration for the life of a friend, Professor Jen Wilson, who recently died. There were lovely performances of jazz and blues music, which she had championed all her life and of course, I took the opportunity to have a scribble.

An Old Head….

I’ve been looking through old work, it’s surprising how much I’d forgotten about. Here’s one from 2010. I was enjoying working with chalk and soft pastels onto dark papers back then, on a large scale, this is size A2.
