I was working into a large (A2) brown paper sketchbook back in November 2016, using conté crayons in white, black and sanguine. I really like that combination of paper and drawing materials for doing portraits. These are professional life models at Swansea Print Workshop’s weekly life drawing group.

The Choir In The Church
I went to a concert featuring the choir that Husb is in, Cor Aderyn Du, at the beautiful Llangiwg Church on Barley Hill above Rhydyfro. I sat in the pews and sketched a bit. It was a lovely sunny evening and the sun streamed through the magnificent modern stained glass window.
