Greetings Humans

Greetings Humans. Sparta Puss here. I managed to get my paws on the furless she-ape’s pooter box while she’s washing my food bowls. And preparing my supper. And brushing excess fur from my favourite blankie. And going down the road to the hunting ground called the supermarket to hunt for my kitty biscuits. She’sContinue reading “Greetings Humans”

Little Lou Lou

Husb and I visited relatives today and met the latest little addition to the family, a naughty Tortie called Lou Lou. She’s about 5 months old, shorthaired and looks like there’s some Siamese in her. She’s very leggy with big ears and a long nose and huge saucer eyes all wrapped up in a brindledContinue reading “Little Lou Lou”

Hungry Scribbles

Boy Chaos

Husb and I had one of our great-nephews for a sleepover. He’s a delightful 11 year old with a superpower. He spreads chaos wherever he goes. He is Boy Chaos! This is our settee this morning. I have no idea how he managed to get a cushion cover completely off a gigantic cushion almost asContinue reading “Boy Chaos”

Cats And Dogs

I started a new sketchbook earlier this week, a Peter Pauper Press book called ‘The Cat’s Meow Journal’. That’s Sparta Puss ‘helping’ me to photograph it. Not! The first scribbles are of the two little Patterdale Terriers belonging to Jane Simpson of Galerie Simpson in Swansea. I popped in a couple of days ago andContinue reading “Cats And Dogs”

Watching The Match

The rugby World Cup has been thrilling so far and after Saturday’s epic woodcut session at Swansea Print Workshop, a few of us decamped to local hostelry, The Brunswick, to watch the match between Wales and Australia. It was a tough game, we lost but we’re still going through to the next round. Exciting stuff.Continue reading “Watching The Match”
